Software Development
Coding and developing algorithms is part of my everyday life since the early years of my studies. During and after my PhD studies, the growth of my software projects motivated a deep dive into software development. Today, I maintain projects with >25 K lines of python or C++ code and advocate for free and open source software. Some of my projects can be found on my GitHub account stiglers-eponym.
Application programs
The PDF presentation tool BeamerPresenter turned out to be useful for some of my colleagues. It can be used for interactive presentations and for teaching.
Scientific code
- DUBFI — Dynamic Uncertainty Bayesian Flux Inversion for estimating greenhouse gas fluxes into the atmosphere. This python tool implements a synthesis inversion step with ensemble-estimated uncertainties. It is part of a tool chain for estimating methane fluxes on national level.
- I contributed to fluxy, a tool for visualizing and comparing inverse model results for greenhouse gas fluxes into the atmosphere.
- python library FRTRG for the Floquet Real-Time Renormalization Group method applied to the periodically driven Kondo model, see FRTRG.
